however I recently discovered you can buy a set at target for around $20 that includes this size. This wrench will work for most small tune up jobs around the house and on your bike, I wouldn't use it for heavy duty torque jobs like on cars.
It helps save a few extra turns of adjustment. The rubber grip is nice too. What I like most is the measurements just below the moving bit.
One kind soul has it for the 12". Will other reviewers please include it for the 8" and 10" wrenches. Thanks. The maximum jaw width of the 6" wrench is 19mm (3/4"). This key piece of information is missing in the specifications of the Stanley adjustable wrenches.
Review cross-posted to cover the different sizes I've used (6", 8", & 10"). It's an adjustable wrench, pretty straight forward.Good quality, looks nice (first point is more important than the second, but there it is).It adjusts and holds its size better than other tools by major manufacturers that I've used in the past.Although I haven't used the grip in wet or cold environments, I imagine it would suit better in both of those situations. As it is, having the grip helps provide a better feel, if not more torque.
The 8" would have been a better choice. But this one is way to small. Stanley products are generally well made. The reason I chose this wrench is because my hands are small and I thought it would be easier to handle.
